Dexter Lumis has looked back at his WWE career and how it was a dream to join and wrestle in the promotion.Lumis joined WWE in 2019 after several years on the indies, as well as in other promotions like TNA Wrestling. The former Wyatt Sicks member has reminisced about his time in WWE and how it still is, in a way, a dream for him, a few months after his second release from the company."WWE was the dream, you know, it still is in a way," he began in his interview with "Insight." "I mean, I went through all the emotions, I guess you could say [after being released]. But my mentality is like, okay, that's maybe done for now or forever. I can't change that, what's happened in the past, and right now is what I'm focused on and the future, and I don't want to dwell on any negativity in that arena. But, yeah, it's disheartening. I was there for seven years, and I feel like I had a really unique, very fun career."Lumis spoke positively about his stint in WWE and how he had to pinch himself to remind himself that he was a part of WWE. He recalled his first release from WWE, which happened when Vince McMahon was in charge of "NXT" and overhauled the developmental brand.His second and most recent release in 2026 was part of TKO's restructuring strategy, which meant that many like him were cut by WWE. He conceded that this may have been his last run in WWE, arguing that he would have to prove himself if he were to return to WWE. Post his recent WWE exit, Lumis has gone back to his old look and has featured on the indies for promotions like House of Glory.
