Dirk Nowitzki took a major step back from the Dallas Mavericks after the Luka Doncic trade, but things seem to be back on track now maybe even a role for the Mavs legend is on the cards in the future?Mavs fans were questioning their own loyalty to the team when the heart and soul were traded away in a shock blockbuster and their biggest legend Dirk was too.He pulled backon his connection to the franchise, but his current relationship with the team now that Masai Ujiri has taken over as president and director of basketball operations is better, Dirk told Marc Stein.Ive known Masai for a long, long time, Nowitzki said on DLLS Mavspodcast. Weve already had some discussions about whats going to transpire in the future, and he obviously wants me to be a part of the Mavericks.
