EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsDENVER -- Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. left the team's preseason finale Friday night with a right foot injury and was not expected to return to the game.Mims, who has been a two-time Pro Bowl selection as well as a first-team All Pro as a returner in 2024, was one of the few Broncos regulars in uniform for the game against the Minnesota Vikings. The fourth-year veteran was injured on an overthrown pass from Jarrett Stidham on the sixth play from scrimmage in the game.Mims and Vikings safety Jacob Thomas collided out of bounds as the ball sailed past Mims. Mims immediately grabbed his right foot after he hit the ground and rolled over.Mims, who is in the final year of his rookie deal, limped away and then tried to jog the rest of the way off the field before he went to the injury tent. He then went to the locker room and did not return to the bench area.He had missed several training camp practices with a lower body injury and has not had a catch or a return in the preseason. He was named to the Pro Bowl as a returner in 2023 and 2024 while he finished second in the league in punt returns last season at 15.6 yards per punt return.Mims' punt return touchdown last season came in the Broncos' Week 14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Broncos had 30 players who not in uniform for Friday's games, including most of the team's starters.
