EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsNASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Titans wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson is being evaluated for a concussion after taking a big hit from Chicago Bears safety Xavier Woods during joint practice on Thursday.The play took place towards the end of practice when Robinson caught a pass across the middle of the field from Cam Ward during team period. Robinson got up after the play and walked into the building under his own power."It was cheap," Titans coach Robert Saleh said when asked about the hit.Woods, who played for Tennessee last year, got up after delivering the hit and was immediately confronted by Titans center Austin Schlottman and left guard Peter Skoronski. Multiple altercations ensued as both the Bears and Titans coaches tried to get the situation under control."That's teach tape 101 in terms of what not to do in a thud practice and a thud period," Skoronski said after practice. "You can't have guys like Wan'Dale going down like that, and hits like that aren't necessary. I get we're being competitive. I get DBs are physical and stuff like that, but that's totally uncalled for in a practice thing like this. We defend our teammates, man. I don't encourage throwing punches or fighting or anything like that, but if cheap shots are taken on our guys, it's unacceptable for us."Robinson signed a four-year, $70-million deal with the Titans in March.Saleh said the starters will play in the preseason finale against the Bears on Saturday at Nissan Stadium. Robinson's status is unclear for the game.
