Newcastle United have completed the signing of midfielder Nico Gonzalez from Manchester City. The Magpies have made Gonzalez their seventh summer signing, paying an initial �48million to City, with the deal featuring a further �4m in potential add-ons. After completing a medical on Tyneside on Wednesday, the signing of Gonzalez was announced ahead of their EFL Cup tie with Championship side West Brom.Gonzalez will be expected to go straight into the team for Newcastles Premier League clash with Tottenham in North London on Saturday.Im really happy to be here at this amazing club, Gonzalez told Newcastles official website.
