Klay Thompson had the chance to maximize his money this offseason. Instead, the four-time NBA champion chose another shot at winning.Thompson officially joined the Miami Heat after clearing waivers following his buyout with the Dallas Mavericks, signing a two-year deal that includes a player option for the second season.
