The Nemeths defeated the Hardys to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Lockdown, making Nic Nemeth a double champion before Leon Slater confirmed he would challenge him for the World title at Bound for Glory.The Hardys introduced a table to the ring before entering the cage to begin the match. The bout went back-and-forth before they made an attempt to use it, though, setting Nic Nemeth on it to put him through it. Ryan Nemeth made the save for his brother, delivering a low-blow to Matt Hardy and thus pulling Jeff away.Nic Nemeth sought to connect with a tuned-up superkick before getting dropped with a Side Effect by Matt Hardy, who then followed up with a Twist of Fate onto Ryan Nemeth. Hardy set him on the table as Jeff went to the top rope for the Swanton.Jeff opted to instead scale the top of the cage for the move, but Nic Nemeth made the save this time, taking out Matt and then brawling with Jeff on the cage. Matt delivered another Twist of Fate to Ryan, setting him on the table, and sought to climb for himself. He then hit an elbow drop through the table and looked to get him in position for the cover.But Nic Nemeth came from behind him with a Danger Zone to pin Matt and win the TNA World Tag Team Championship.Nemeth celebrated but quickly had that cut short by Slater's entrance. He announced that, having won the X-Division title back earlier in the night, he would be exercising Option C to challenge Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at Bound for Glory.Carlos Silva then took the X-Division title to make it official, allowing Slater to take out Nemeth and stand tall with the World title to close the show.
