Tag team wrestling isn't always the main focus in WWE, but when the company's duos get the chance to shine they usually have the WWE Universe talking. Back in May, reports claimed that WWE was looking to rebuild its tag team divisions on both "WWE Raw" and "WWE SmackDown," and in a new report on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp broke down the latest on the company's efforts to bring tag team wrestling back to the forefront.On the blue side of WWE, The MFT's Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga are the current champions after dethroning Damian Priest and R-Truth on the August 14 episode of "SmackDown."New challengers are reportedly on the horizon according to Fightful, with Fraxiom set to receive an increased amount of television time in the coming months. However, the main challengers will come in the form of Shinsuke Nakamura and the man many presume to be former IWGP Junior HeavyweightChampion, Hiromu Takahashi, though he has yet to make his WWE debut at the time of writing.As for "Raw," talk of who will be the team to dethrone The Vision has reportedly been discussed at length within WWE according to Fightful. The problem on the red side of WWE is that the two top candidates to topple Austin Theory and Bron Breakker aren't ready to challenge quite yet. The top contenders would likely be The Street Profits, but they aren't being used at the moment as Montez Ford is off television celebrating the birth of his son with his wife Bianca Belair. Aside from The Street Profits, Los Americanos have also been touted as top challengers, but Sapp believes that won't happen until after AAA TripleMania 34 in September.A duo that could become more prominent on "Raw" is Ethan Page and Rusev as Sapp claims that WWE sources don't want either man to be lost in the shuffle, but the issue with that team is that those same WWE sources don't want Page or Rusev stuck in the tag team division, causing a push to be halted. Finally, The Creed Brothers have recently made a return to the company under their original names, but they have not been discussed as potential opponents for The Vision.
