Stadium wrestling shows and pyrotechnics are a match made in heaven, with the large firework displays often adding to the overall experience of watching such a large show. However, one show that might not have as many fireworks as one would suspect is AEW's biggest show of the year, AEW All In London 2026, and the person partially to blame for this...is Canadian pop star The Weeknd.According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Weeknd was performing at Wembley Stadium in London, England on August 14, where a large number of fireworks were set off in the venue as part of the finale of his concert. The problem that came with The Weeknd's pyro show was his concert happened on the same day that the UK government issued an official emergency warning regarding wildfires, and warned the public not to use fireworks, or anything that could potentially cause a fire as a result. What this means for All Elite Wrestling is that the company will more than likely be able to use pyrotechnics at All In London, but not to the level that the company has in its previous two trips to Wembley Stadium in 2023 and 2024.Stadium officials have since responded to the criticism, stating that all firework displays take place within the stadium's footprint, are controlled and managed by specialist professionals, and that a team of fire safety experts are always on site for all firework displays and performances involving fire. Stadium officials have also met with members of the Metropolitan Police and the London Fire Brigade to discuss how to move forward, a spokesperson from Brent Council in London has urged for reassurance that more measures will be taken to ensure that the use of fireworks at Wembley is as safe as possible.
