The two quarterbacks dueled in last season's College Football Playoff National Championship -- a seesaw game that went down to the wire and was won by Mendoza's Indiana Hoosiers over Beck's Miami Hurricanes. The Cardinals had previously said Jacoby Brissett would start the game while Kirk Cousins will get the start for the Raiders.Beck was clean, efficient, took what the defense gave him and finished with an impressive preseason debut in a 33-30 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium last week. The third-round pick completed 15 of 19 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown for a quarterback rating of 125.4.ESPN's Josh Weinfuss contributed to this report.
