Tottenham defender Mickey van de Ven has signed a new contract with the club. Van de Ven has been a key player since joining from Wolfsburg in 2023, with his previous deal expiring in 2029. His new deal reportedly runs until 2031 and will see him earn a signifcant increase in salary.The Netherlands defender was rumoured to be seeking a departure from North London towards the end of last season after narrowly avoiding relegation, but his new contract will be a show of faith in the clubs direction under manager Roberto De Zerbi.He said: Its a special moment to sign a new deal and a proud moment for me and my family.Ive always loved Spurs, from the first day I stepped in here.
