EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsGLENDALE, Ariz. -- Another day, another honor for Larry Fitzgerald.Just two days after being enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, the Arizona Cardinals announced that they will retire Larry Fitzgerald's No. 11 and induct him into their Ring of Honor at halftime of their Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos on Oct. 25th.Fitzgerald played all 17 of his NFL seasons with the Cardinals, and will be the sixth player in franchise history to have his number retired and the 20th member of the team's Ring of Honor."No one who has ever worn a Cardinals uniform is more deserving of this honor," Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill said in a statement. "His excellence on the field was only surpassed by the way he represented our team and our community off of it. We are all grateful for the opportunity to recognize Larry in this way and for our fans to celebrate all he has meant to our franchise and the state of Arizona."Arizona took Fitzgerald with the third pick in the 2004 draft and he went on to finish his career ranked second all-time in receptions and receiving yards.Fitzgerald is also the franchise leader in receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns and games played.
