Detroit Lions star Jahmyr Gibbs is also seeking a new contract.Taylor admitted earlier this week that Robinsons deal could help move negotiations forward.Hopefully, he said. Im going to tap in and check in with him now that you guys broke the news to me.Taylor ready to push on in 2026The 27-year-old was entering the final season of the three-year extension he signed in 2023 after a lengthy contract dispute with Indianapolis. After injury-hit campaigns in 2022 and 2023, Taylor has returned to his best over the past two seasons. He led the NFL with 323 rushing attempts and 18 rushing touchdowns last season, finishing with 1,585 rushing yards.
