Barcelona have completed the signing of Germany forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. The deal is worth an initial �19million, with a further �6m in performance-related add-ons. Dortmund will also receive a percentage of any future profit Barcelona make should Adeyemi be sold.The 24-year-old becomes Barcelonas second signing of the summer following the arrival of England winger Anthony Gordon from Newcastle.Head coach Hansi Flick was instrumental in bringing Adeyemi to Camp Nou, having previously handed the forward his senior Germany debut during his time in charge of the national team.Adeyemi adds versatility to Barcelonas attack, with the ability to play across all three forward positions.He leaves Dortmund after four seasons, having joined the Bundesliga club from RB Salzburg in 2022. During his time in Germany, he scored 36 goals in 146 appearances across all competitions.Despite strengthening their frontline with the additions of Adeyemi and Gordon, Barcelona are still expected to pursue another striker before the transfer window closes.The clubs current attacking options also include Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Ferran Torres.
