Frenkie de Jong believes Barcelona should extend Marcus Rashfords time at the club following his season on loan with the LaLiga champions.Rashford joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester United last July, the England international realising a dream with his move to Catalonia.And he has impressed for Hansi Flicks side, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions while helping Barca successfully defend the LaLiga title.Rashford scored a sublime free-kick to open the scoring in the 2-0 Clasico win over Real Madrid that wrapped up the title, his first major honour since winning the EFL Cup with United in 2023.Barca have the option to make the move permanent for a fee of around 30million, and midfielder De Jong feels they should use it.Yes, I believe so, the Dutchman said when asked by Diario Sport about Barca taking up the option.
