The NBA world is in shock after Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke passed at age 29.The Grizzlies, the NBA and Clarkes agency, Priority Sports, all confirmed the devastating news on Tuesday morning.Details surrounding his death remain limited publicly, although LAPD sources told ABC News that Clarke was found dead Monday inside a home in Los Angeles San Fernando Valley.Authorities reportedly discovered narcotics at the scene and stated there was no evidence of foul play.Memphis released an emotional statement shortly after the news broke.We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Brandon Clarke, the Grizzlies said. Brandon was an outstanding teammate and an even better person whose impact on the organization and the greater Memphis community will not be forgotten.NBA commissioner Adam Silver also released a statement honoring Clarkes impact both on and off the court.As one of the longest-tenured members of the Grizzlies, Brandon was a beloved teammate and leader who played the game with enormous passion and grit, Silver said.
