It turned out to be his last appearance before quietly disappearing from the active roster. His WWE run began less than a year ago, debuting at Backlash 2025 in a major spot by aligning with Solo Sikoa. That introduction immediately tied him to one of the companys dominant forces and placed him within the MFTs faction, where he served as a physical presence alongside the group. Before signing with WWE in 2025, Mateo was known internationally as Jeff Cobb, building a strong reputation in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as part of the United Empire faction. His transition to WWE came with momentum but that push never fully translated into a long-term role on the main roster.
