The May 1 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Revolution will be televised, and the USA Network was the perfect place to start on the WWE main roster for Ricky Saints. WWE fans were excited to see the company announce Ricky Saints main roster call-up. There were a lot of unanswered questions about how he would be received, but all of those were put to rest this week on the blue brand. Ricky Saints spent some time in NXT, where he became champion of the brand, but after he dropped that title, he didnt stop chasing it. In the end, the former Ricky Starks didnt get another NXT Title run because he was called up to the main roster before that could happen. This week on SmackDown, Rick Saints made his main roster debut. Cody Rhodes had the opening segment, and then Saints came out to interrupt him. This was a big surprise, because the two have a long history. The two had a back-and-forth, and a match was eventually set up between the two. During that banter, Cody Rhodes also brought up his history against Saints, as they faced each other in AEW once upon a time. He asked how things are going to be different this time, and Saints replied to explain that Cody is different now, because hes damaged. Cody Rhodes and Ricky Saints are legit friends. Saints was spotted at the Royal Rumble years ago, as he just accompanied Rhodes at the event. This was a big first impression on the main roster as he stepped up to the champion. Ricky Saints was once a part of AEW, where he made his first big impression on the pro wrestling world. He spent years in Tony Khans company, where he was both a heel and a fan-favorite, but he ended up venturing to WWEs greener pastures. Only time will tell what he does next, but this weeks SmackDown was only the beginning. Whats your take on Ricky Saints debut on the main roster? Do you believe that he will become a champion?
