Russo made it clear he doesnt believe thats how things actually work behind the scenes, especially after what fans have seen publicly. Russo pointed to footage of WWE creative meetings and how Paul Levesque appears to be the central figure making final calls. Russo didnt stop there. He went further by questioning Shapiros comments directly, suggesting there may be more to the messaging than whats being said publicly. He also floated the possibility that Shapiro may have been referring to celebrity-related decisions rather than weekly wrestling storylines.
