WWE LFG is back for Season 3, but the show looks very different this time around. During the opening segment of the April 26 premiere, Shawn Michaels revealed that WWE has completely changed the format. The team structure and points system used in the first two seasons have been dropped, marking the biggest shift the show has seen so far. Instead of building toward a final winner, the focus is now on preparing talent for real NXT television. Contestants are no longer competing for a single NXT contract at the end of the season. Now, talent must stay ready at all times because they could be called to appear on NXT at any moment. Thats a major departure from Seasons 1 and 2, where competitors were split into teams led by coaches and earned points each week while working toward winning a contract. Season 3 moves away from the reality competition style and leans more into preparing wrestlers for television opportunities as they come. The coaching lineup still features a mix of legends and active WWE Superstars, bringing both experience and current insight to the competitors. Season 3 coaches include: Booker T Bubba Ray Dudley Kevin Owens Natalya Kevin Owens is appearing on the show while recovering from neck surgery, allowing him to stay involved while mentoring younger talent. Natalya remains active on WWE programming and adds current in-ring knowledge to the coaching staff. WWE LFG Season 3 premiered Sunday, April 26, on A&E, with new episodes airing weekly. With teams gone and no contract prize waiting at the end, the pressure now shifts to proving readiness at any time rather than winning a structured competition. This new direction could completely change how WWE LFG develops future talent and how fans follow the journey of competitors throughout the season. Do you think dropping the teams and contract prize makes WWE LFG better, or did the old format make the show more entertaining? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback in the comments.
