AEW could be getting ready to expand its pay-per-view lineup again in 2026, and the company may already have a name picked out. According to Andrew Zarian on the latest Mat Men Podcast, AEWs recently trademarked Redemption name is expected to be used for a new pay-per-view event. While the exact date hasnt been confirmed, July currently looks like the most logical spot on the calendar. Right now, AEW already has Double or Nothing set for May, Forbidden Door scheduled for June, and All In locked in for August. That leaves July sitting wide open, making it the most obvious place to add another show if Redemption ends up becoming official. There is always the chance AEW could simply rename one of its existing events later in the year, such as All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear, or Worlds End. However, that doesnt seem likely based on how the company has structured its calendar in recent years. If Redemption does get added as a brand-new event, it would push AEW to ten pay-per-views in a single year for the first time ever. The company started with just three pay-per-views back in 2019, then gradually increased the number over the years reaching nine annual events in both 2024 and 2025. Adding a July pay-per-view would also change the summer schedule, giving AEW another major event between Forbidden Door and All In, which are already two of the promotions biggest shows of the year.
