AJ Lee didnt hold back when talking about Paige and she made it clear that seeing her return would mean a lot on a personal level. During an interview with Rick Ucchino for Sports Illustrated, AJ Lee was asked about the possibility of Paige stepping back into WWE. The response showed just how strong their connection still is. AJ explained that she always believed in Paiges talent and even joked that she helped guide her early on. She then explained that seeing Paige back today wouldnt just be exciting it would feel emotional. AJ also pointed out that the womens division today is very different from what it used to be, saying the locker room environment has changed for the better.
