Austin Theory has officially confirmed he was the masked man all along, dating back to last yearand hes shutting down every rumor that someone else was behind the attacks. After months of theories surrounding the masked man who attacked CM Punk at Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 until Theorys eventual reveal, Theory has now made it officialhe was behind it the entire time. Speaking to Adrian Hernandez on April 11, 2026, Theory directly addressed the mystery and shut down all the rumors about other WWE stars being involved, including Montez Ford: Yesevery time it was me. It wasnt all these other guys you think it was. He even acknowledged how wild the speculation got online, with fans trying to break down every detail to figure out who was under the mask: Montez Ford oryo, they were zooming inIt was great. It was my ass. Everybody was like, Oh, thats got to be Austin Theory. Im like, Okay, alright. Theory didnt stop at the revealhe also gave a behind-the-scenes look at how WWE managed to keep the secret under wraps for so long, even within the locker room. He described going to extreme lengths to avoid being recognized, including being transported separately and keeping his identity hidden until the last possible moment. And once he got close to the venue, the disguise went onsometimes leaving even the driver confused about what was happening. Even backstage, Theory said very few people knew what was going on, which helped WWE keep the storyline tightly controlled That secrecy extended all the way to production, with only a handful of people involved in preparing him for the segments. He also revealed how minimal the disguise actually was, despite fooling so many viewers. What started as one of WWEs biggest recent mysteries has now been fully confirmedand according to Theory, it worked exactly as planned, keeping both fans and much of the locker room guessing until the reveal.
