Darby Allin almost took his wild style to the big screen after personally reaching out to Steve-O about joining a Jackass movie. While speaking on TMZ Inside The Ring, Darby was asked about the latest Jackass film and whether he had any involvement. The conversation started with Bam Margeras status, and Darby explained that Bam didnt actually film anything new for the project. He made it clear that the footage being used wasnt recent and that Bam has been separated from the core group. After addressing Bams situation, Darby revealed that he actually spoke to Steve-O years ago when the fourth Jackass movie was still being filmed. He didnt hesitate to tell Steve-O exactly what he wanted. Darby then explained that Jackass wasnt just entertainment for him growing up it played a huge role in shaping his mindset long before wrestling became his career. He said his inspiration came more from skateboarding and stunt culture than from watching wrestling. He added that even though he never ended up in the movie, he already feels like hes living that lifestyle every time he steps into AEW. Darby Allins comments help explain why his matches often look different from everyone elses. His approach has always leaned toward risk and unpredictability, and hearing that Jackass played such a big role in shaping his mindset makes that connection even clearer. Even without appearing in the movie, Darby continues to carry that same reckless energy into AEW every single week, turning his matches into something that feels closer to stunt work than traditional wrestling.
