WWEs new NXT trademark finally has a clear purpose, and it looks like the company is turning it into a two-week TV event loaded with big matches and moments. NXT Revenge was recently trademarked, and the plan is for WWE to officially announce the concept on tonights episode of NXT. The reveal is expected to happen during a backstage interview with Robert Stone, who will introduce the new themed event to viewers. Fightful Selects Corey Brennan reported that NXT Revenge will be a two-week special event starting next week on NXT, with Robert Stone set to announce it during a backstage interview. The first week of NXT Revenge is already shaping up to be a big one. Ethan Page is scheduled to defend the NXT Championship against Tony DAngelo, giving the opening week a major title match right out of the gate. Week two will feature a more physical showdown, as Zaria and Sol Ruca are expected to face off in a Last Woman Standing match. That stipulation suggests WWE wants to bring some serious intensity to the second week of the special. There are also more big moments tied to the event. Kali Armstrong is set to make her NXT debut as part of the NXT Revenge shows, while Jacy Jayne and Lola Vice are scheduled to run things back in an NXT Womens Championship rematch next week. With two weeks of title matches, a stipulation match, and a debut planned, WWE is clearly trying to make NXT Revenge feel like more than just another regular episode of NXT. Do you think NXT Revenge will live up to the hype, or does WWE need even bigger matches to make this two-week event feel special? Let us know what you think and drop your feedback below.
