An independent wrestling show in Illinois turned chaotic after a fan tried to stab a wrestler during the main eventand what followed was caught on camera. The incident went down during a match between SHLAK and Kruel at a Ruthless Pro Wrestling Omega show. According to multiple accounts, a fan suddenly rushed toward the ring and attempted to stab Kruel, sending the venue into panic. What followed was immediate and intense. Wrestlers from the locker room, along with members of the crowd, rushed in to stop the attacker before he could get away. Footage from the scene shows multiple individuals swarming the suspect, with punches being thrown as people shouted for him to be taken down: F*** him up The situation escalated as the man tried to run away, only to be chased down and knocked to the ground by a wrestler before being surrounded again. It came to a point that other people had to stop the wrestlers before something tragic happened. One of the wrestlers at the event, Lou Newton, took to Facebook and reacted to the situation in his own way making it clear just how serious things got once the attacker was stopped. Despite the frightening moment, Kruel is said to be okay following the incident. There has been speculation online suggesting the attack could be linked to ongoing issues between deathmatch wrestling groups on Facebook, but that has not been confirmed. Bottom line what started as a main event quickly turned into a dangerous real-life situation, and it took a rapid response from wrestlers and fans to prevent things from getting even worse.
