Sid Vicious is officially heading into the WWE Hall of Fame and now WWE has confirmed his place in the 2026 Legacy Class. The announcement was made by Triple H on Twitter, confirming that Sid Eudy will be inducted posthumously after his passing in August 2024 at the age of 63 following a battle with cancer. Triple H didnt hold back when describing Sids presence and impact inside the ring, making it clear why hes being honored. The Game also pointed to Sids accomplishments across multiple promotions, showing just how big of a star he was during his peak years. Sid competed under several names throughout his career including Sid Justice, Sid Vicious, and Sycho Sid becoming one of the most recognizable big men of his era. He first rose to prominence in WCW as part of The Skyscrapers and later The Four Horsemen, before jumping to WWE in 1991 where he headlined WrestleMania VIII against Hulk Hogan. His second WWE run saw him capture the WWF Championship twice, including a memorable win over Shawn Michaels in 1996 where the crowd reaction flipped expectations entirely. He later headlined WrestleMania 13 against The Undertaker, further cementing his place in WWE history. Sid also had major success in WCW, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice in 2000, but his career took a shocking turn in 2001 when he suffered a devastating leg injury during a WCW pay-per-view one of the most infamous moments in wrestling history. Although he made occasional appearances after that, including a return at RAW 1000 in 2012, Sid officially retired in 2017. Now, he joins a stacked 2026 Hall of Fame class that includes names like AJ Styles, Stephanie McMahon, Demolition, and Dennis Rodman, with the ceremony set to take place during WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas.
