EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsThe Seattle Seahawks are matching the Jacksonville Jaguars' multiyear offer sheet to wide receiver Jake Bobo, a source told ESPN's Field Yates.Bobo, a restricted free agent, signed the two-year offer sheet on Friday, and the Seahawks had five days to match. According to NFL Network, the offer sheet is worth $5.5 million and included $4.5 million guaranteed. It can be worth up to $7 million if incentives are met.The Seahawks assigned the right-of-first-refusal tender to Bobo as a restricted free agent earlier this month. That positioned him to make $3.52 million on a one-year deal and gave Seattle the right to match any team's offer. The Seahawks did so even with Bobo coming off an injury-plagued season in which his role was reduced. He missed the opener with a concussion and two games in November with what were listed as Achilles and calf injuries. Bobo was then a healthy scratch twice in December.Bobo had two catches for 20 yards last season and two receptions for 33 yards during the Seahawks' postseason run to a Super Bowl championship, including a 17-yard touchdown in the NFC Championship Game.He is a key member of the Seahawks' special teams units and their best blocking wide receiver.Bobo has become something of a folk hero in Seattle since he made the team as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2023. His legend grew when he played in Super Bowl LX less than two weeks removed from surgery to repair a broken bone in his hand that he suffered in the NFC Championship Game.He has 34 receptions for 323 yards and three touchdowns in his NFL career.ESPN's Brady Henderson contributed to this report.
