WWEs growing developmental pipeline is becoming clearer after a fresh round of EVOLVE tapings revealed several indie wrestlers now working under WWE ID deals. According to Fightful Select, multiple talents were confirmed during the tapings, including at least one former NXT name and several independent standouts now using new WWE-assigned ring names. One of the biggest names spotted was Notorious Mimi, who appeared under her former WWE identity Sloane Jacobs during the tapings. Jacobs previously competed in NXT before returning to the independent scene, where she continued to build momentum. She notably picked up a decisive win over Shazza McKenzie during WrestleMania weekend in 2024 and also gained additional exposure through her appearance on Apple TVs Monster Factory series. Another familiar face connected to the WWE ID program is Valentina Rossi, who is now working under the Gianna Capri name. Rossi is no stranger to major promotions, having worked regularly as enhancement talent for AEW between June 2021 and March 2023. During that stretch, she competed in more than a dozen matches under both the Valentina Rossi and Mafiosa names. She also appeared on the March 1 episode of ROH on HonorClub, adding to her growing resume before joining WWEs developmental structure. Fallyn Gray was also confirmed as part of the WWE ID program, where she is expected to perform under the Veronica Haven name. Meanwhile, Airica Demia has officially signed with WWE ID as well and will be using the name Anya Rune. Demia already has experience competing within the WWE ID system, having challenged for the WWE ID Womens Championship twice. She has also made appearances on both NWA and ROH programming, bringing additional experience into the fold. All four talents were among those who participated in the February WWE tryouts, which appear to have served as the launching point for these WWE ID signings. Their presence at the recent EVOLVE tapings signals that WWE is continuing to stockpile talent and refine new characters ahead of potential appearances on developmental programming. These developments also connect directly to WWEs recent trademark activity, where names such as Gianna Capri, Veronica Haven, and Anya Rune were officially filed a move that often signals long-term plans for new characters before they reach television. With WWE continuing to build out its pipeline through programs like WWE ID and EVOLVE, these signings suggest that the next generation of talent is already being prepared behind the scenes, even if many fans are only just learning their new identities now.
