The March 17 episode of WWE NXT took the show on the road, and the Texas crowd showed up loud and ready for chaos. The #1 contender match for the NXT Tag Team Titles brought that to the table in a big way. One of the big bouts was a No. 1 Contenders tournament match for the NXT Tag Team Championships, as Hank & Tank squared off with Birthright. The winner of the tournament will go on to face Vanity Project at Stand & Deliver. Both teams came in hungry for a title shot, turning the match into a hard-hitting sprint where every near fall felt like it could decide the divisions next challengers. This was a first-round match-up, and Hank and Tank started with some fast and furious offense. They kept up this tactic, but eventually all four men were down. Hank and Tank were on fire, and it looked as though they were about to close up the match. Eventually, Lexis King got involved, and he was taken out by Hank and Tank. Stacks took a bump, but he wasnt the legal Superstar. Then Conners got the pin by surprise, and Birth Right advanced in the tournament. Only in pro wrestling can something start with a shocking finish, but that is what happened this week on NXT. Whats your take on the NXT Tag Team Division?
