The Bella Twins absence from WWE television hasnt been because they dont want to return according to Brie Bella, theyre simply waiting for WWE to call them back into the story. Brie opened up about the situation during a March 13, 2026 conversation with Lala Kent, where she explained that both she and Nikki Bella expected to be back on TV sooner after her Royal Rumble appearance earlier this year. Brie admitted that when she returned at the end of January, she assumed WWE would immediately start using her regularly on Monday Night Raw. Instead, Brie said WWE told her they would bring the Bellas back once the storyline actually calls for them something that has left her surprised by how long its taken. Even with the delay, Brie made it clear the Bella Twins are eager to step back into the ring especially with WrestleMania season now in full swing. She said she would love to wrestle again before WrestleMania 42, particularly because the WWE Womens Tag Team Championships will be featured on the show. Brie also made it clear that she and Nikki still believe they can compete with the current WWE womens roster if theyre given the opportunity: Nikki and I want to prove we can hang in that division, and they just need to give us the time. The Bella Twins last appeared on WWE television during the February 2, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw. While Brie returned during the Womens Royal Rumble match earlier this year, the sisters havent teamed together in the ring since that appearance. The timing of Bries comments is interesting as speculation about a Bella Twins return has been heating up recently. Nikki Bella was spotted in Phoenix ahead of the March 13 episode of SmackDown, and a fan noticed she liked a message suggesting the twins could appear on the show. On top of that, Nikki and Brie recently confirmed during an appearance on Access Daily that they will be involved during WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas: Officially at WrestleMania. I will say last year, WrestleMania, I was there in Vegas, it was unreal. For now, it appears the Bella Twins are simply waiting for WWE creative to bring them back into the mix but if Brie gets her wish, the return could happen sooner rather than later as the road to WrestleMania continues.
