The Bella Twins may be much closer to a WWE return than fans expected and a new social media clue has people pointing straight at Fridays SmackDown. A fan took to Twitter on March 12, 2026 and pointed out a clue that quickly got the Bella Army excited. According to the fan, Nikki Bella liked their message suggesting that the Bella Twins could appear on the March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown in Phoenix, Arizona. The speculation didnt stop there. Nikki also posted an Instagram Story showing herself at La Grande Orange Grocery & Pizzeria a restaurant located in Phoenix. That detail immediately caught fans attention because SmackDown is set to take place the next night at the Mortgage Matchup Center in the same city. The speculation also comes shortly after Nikki Bella and Brie Bella confirmed they will be involved in WrestleMania 42 weekend. During an interview with Access Daily, Nikki confirmed the Bellas will officially be part of the WrestleMania festivities: Officially at WrestleMania. I will say last year, WrestleMania, I was there in Vegas, it was unreal. The Bella Twins last appeared on WWE television during the February 2, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw. While Brie Bella returned earlier this year during the Womens Royal Rumble match, the sisters have not teamed together in the ring since then. If the SmackDown appearance happens, it could potentially set up a WrestleMania storyline. With Nia Jax and Lash Legend currently holding the WWE Womens Tag Team Championships, a Bella Twins return targeting the titles would immediately create a major WrestleMania program.
