Two familiar names were reportedly backstage at the March 5 TNA iMPACT tapings in Georgia, and one of them is currently signed to WWE. According to Fightful Select, WWE Superstar Jordynne Grace was backstage at the tapings along with her husband Jonathan Gresham. Both have long histories with TNA Wrestling and were simply visiting during the event. The report explained the situation surrounding their appearance at the tapings. Grace and Gresham are both well-known figures within TNAs history. Grace became one of the most dominant stars in the companys Knockouts division during her time there, capturing multiple championships and becoming one of the promotions most recognizable talents. Gresham also had a run with TNA and has competed across numerous promotions during his career. The tapings took place at the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, which is located just outside Atlanta the same area where Grace and Gresham reside. That proximity likely made the visit an easy stop for the couple as TNA rolled through the city. Their presence backstage does not indicate any immediate plans for a return, but it still caught attention given Graces current status as a WWE Superstar. TNA has been building momentum in recent months with its move to AMC and a growing buzz around the product, making appearances from former stars even more noteworthy when they pop up backstage at tapings.
