
EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsChicago Bears center Drew Dalman, 27, has informed the team he is retiring from the NFL, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.Dalman, who left Stanford in 2021, played four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons and one with the Bears.The Bears signed Dalman to a three-year, $42 million contract last offseason as they put a big focus on their interior offensive line, also trading for Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney.Dalman turned in a Pro Bowl season, starting all 17 games and playing all 1,154 offensive snaps.Chicago will now have to address its center position while also figuring out its left tackle spot after Ozzy Trapilo ruptured his patellar tendon in the playoffs.
