During the February 25, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite in Denver, AEW confirmed that Rosa will challenge reigning champion Thekla for the AEW Womens World Championship on the March 4 Dynamite in El Paso, Texas. The announcement immediately placed Rosa back into the center of the womens division, just weeks after she reentered the championship picture. The moment turned tense when Kris Statlander delivered a cryptic warning to Rosa shortly after the match was announced. Just be careful. Rosa didnt hesitate to respond and made it clear she wasnt intimidated by the champion or anyone else standing in her way. The exchange didnt end there. Renee Paquette attempted to press Statlander for answers about her warning, but Statlander refused to explain herself and walked off, leaving the situation unresolved and adding more tension heading into Rosas championship opportunity.
