Ottman told fans doctors kept him hospitalized longer than expected because of how intense the surgery was. Now back home in Florida with his wife Sheila, Ottman says hes beginning what he expects to be a long recovery process with home health care already stepping in. As previously reported, Ottman suffered a ruptured gallbladder that caused a severe infection and nearly turned fatal. He has endured multiple procedures and weeks in the hospital, losing significant strength along the way. Despite everything, his message was filled with gratitude.
