Dustin Rhodes isnt entertaining any talk about going back to WWE and he just made that crystal clear. Despite previously signing a six-year deal with AEW that keeps him with the company through 2030, some fans are still pushing for a reunion with his brother Cody Rhodes in WWE. That speculation resurfaced on February 24, 2026, when a fan took to Twitter with a blunt demand. The fan directly told Rhodes: Bring Goldust back to WWE immediately. Rhodes responded in detail and his answer made his stance clear. He first addressed the idea that returning to WWE would somehow be an upgrade, revealing that he never got a raise there, saying, Nope! I never got a raise there. He also acknowledged the legacy of the Goldust character, a persona that defined much of his WWE tenure, but explained why revisiting it doesnt appeal to him. He made it clear that doing everything he was told got him nowhere in WWE. With a long-term AEW deal already in place and a strong role that includes wrestling, coaching, and mentoring, Rhodes appears fully committed to finishing his career outside of WWE. Any hopes of a Goldust revival alongside Cody now seem off the table for good.
