Mick Foley might be heading back to Hollywood but not the way fans expected. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed on social media that he recently met with a top Hollywood executive about turning one of his personal stories into a movie. And no, its not the long-rumored biopic. Foley made it clear this is a completely separate project based on one of his real-life experiences and he might even step in front of the camera himself. Thats a major twist. Foley has long been viewed as one of wrestlings most compelling storytellers, so the idea of one of his life experiences becoming a standalone film adds another layer to his legacy outside the ring. Meanwhile, the previously reported biopic project is still alive just in early development. Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser recently confirmed hes attached to play Foley in a limited series, though that project has not yet been sold to a network. Foley has also remained in the headlines for reasons beyond Hollywood. Late last year, he publicly distanced himself from WWE, stating he would not renew his Legends contract due to the companys ties to President Donald Trump. Foley cited concerns over immigration policies and Trumps reaction to the death of director Rob Reiner, which he described as incredibly cruel. Now, with two separate entertainment projects in motion a biopic series and a potential film based on his own story Foleys next chapter may be playing out on screen rather than inside a wrestling ring. Would you rather see Paul Walter Hauser portray Mick Foley in a series, or watch Foley play himself in a movie based on his life experience? Drop your thoughts below.
