Following the win which came after Grace used a Cobra strike reminiscent of her father before landing the decisive move the new champion took to X/Twitter and unloaded. No filters. No soft launch. Just a direct shot at the doubters. And she wasnt done. After a fan pointed out that she is the first woman of South Asian heritage to win a Womens World Championship in a major wrestling promotion, Grace responded with a message that shifted the tone. The win itself came in dramatic fashion. Grace took advantage of a distraction to gain early control, battled through a brutal avalanche suplex from Lei Ying Lee around the 15-minute mark, and ultimately sealed the victory with a Cobra to the throat before finishing the job inside the ring. With the win, Grace becomes the 32nd wrestler in history to capture the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Fridays title change marked the 70th in the championships lineage.
