The WWE Performance Center welcomed a familiar face this weekTJP (TJ Perkins) is officially back on site. According to PWInsider, the former Cruiserweight Champion was present at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida during the first week of February 2026, signaling that his previously rumored return as a guest coach is now underway. This marks a full-circle moment for Perkins, who first appeared in WWE as a teenager in the early 2000s and returned in 2016 to win the Cruiserweight Classic and revive the Cruiserweight Title. After parting ways with WWE in 2019, he gained international experience in NJPW, MLW, AAA, and Impact Wrestlingexperience he now appears to be passing on to the next generation. Also making waves at the PC is word that WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman (X-Pac) is expected to appear later this month. Known for mentoring young talent, Waltmans return adds even more veteran presence to WWEs developmental system. TJPs return isnt just limited to coaching. He wrestled a four-way match during the postJanuary 17 AAA TV tapings, filmed for future broadcast on AAA on FOX Latin America. Though not yet aired, that match marks his first in-ring WWE-related performance since 2019, confirming hes not done competing just yet. Back in October 2025, WWE was considering TJP for a guest coach role. Now, that plan seems to be moving forwardwith TJP once again walking WWE halls, just in a new capacity.
