With the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 just hours away, new details have emerged about what fans can expect from todays massive Premium Live Event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabiaincluding attendance expectations, commentary plans, and crossover promotion with ESPN.
According to PWinsider, WWE is expecting over 25,000 fans to pack the King Abdullah Financial District for this years Rumble. The show will once again showcase WWEs global reach, taking one of its most iconic events to a massive international audience.
Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are confirmed as the commentary team for tonights show. The two veterans will be calling all the action, including the Mens and Womens Royal Rumble matches, AJ Styles possible farewell, and Drew McIntyres title defense against Sami Zayn.
To promote the event to a broader audience, ESPNs SportsCenter ran a feature this morning highlighting WWEs greatest finishers of all timeincluding Stone Cold Steve Austins Stunner, Kurt Angles Ankle Lock, and Randy Ortons RKO. The segment was part of ESPNs Royal Rumble push, which also featured Cole and Barrett previewing the full card from on-site in Riyadh.
