WWE has officially confirmed Avas departure from the company by removing her from the active roster and relocating her profile to the alumni section of WWE.com.
Avareal name Simone Johnson and daughter of Dwayne The Rock Johnsonannounced her WWE exit on January 30. She revealed that the January 27 episode of NXT marked her final on-screen appearance and confirmed that she opted not to renew her contract.
Ava signed with WWE in February 2020 and made her television debut in October 2022 as a member of The Schism faction. After the group dissolved, she stepped into a backstage authority role, eventually becoming the youngest General Manager in WWE history in January 2024. Avas next move remains unknownbut shes already made history as a fourth-generation talent and authority figure, leaving the door wide open for what comes next.
