Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowmanreal name Adam Scherrhas been released from the hospital following a serious health scare that required emergency surgery on his knee. The powerhouse wrestler turned TV host took to social media on Friday to confirm the good news, sharing relief and gratitude with fans who had been anxiously awaiting an update.
Strowman revealed earlier in the week that what started as a minor issue quickly escalated into a dangerous infection in the bursa around his patellaa condition that caused extreme pain and swelling. Doctors were forced to perform an emergency procedure to drain the fluid and remove the infected bursa entirely.

The health scare adds to whats already been a tough month for Strowman. Just two weeks earlier, on January 14, he was involved in a car accident that left him with a sore neckanother incident he shared candidly with fans.

Produced by WWE, the show highlights a more relaxed and relatable side of Scherr as he crisscrosses the country sampling regional dishes. The series has been renewed for a second season, showing fans that Strowmans evolution from ring destroyer to food-loving host is connecting in a big way.
