According to a new report from WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful Select, WWE sources believe Pat McAfee will be returning to the company soon. While the exact role and schedule havent been confirmed yet, those inside WWE reportedly expect his comeback in the near future.
That news lines up with what fans saw at WrestlePalooza back in September, when McAfee made a surprise appearance alongside Triple H and joined the commentary desk for the John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar main event. It was a moment that clearly wasnt just for nostalgia it felt like a setup.
While McAfee has been absent from WWE programming due to his ESPN duties on College GameDay, the report confirms that WWE isnt just interested theyre already preparing for his return.
