Rusevs popularity didnt need a wrestling ring to show itself it showed up in an airport.
Prior to arriving for WWE RAW, Miro shared footage of himself walking through the Scotiabank arena when a fan suddenly recognized him and started chanting Rusev Day. The moment didnt stay small for long. As he continued through the venue, other fans quickly joined in, turning it into a brief but noticeable chant echoing through the area.
Instead of encouraging it, Rusev stopped, turned around toward the fans, and made it clear he wanted it to end.
The reaction said a lot. Years after the original run, fans are still instinctively drawn to the Rusev Day chant.
What remains unclear is why he felt it would get him in trouble. He didnt elaborate in the video and offered no additional context, leaving the comment open to interpretation. Whether it was said jokingly, out of caution, or connected to something more serious is unknown at this time.
