WWE fans hoping for a major Premium Live Event at Londons iconic Wembley Stadium may have to keep waiting.

While London Mayor Sadiq Khan has been vocal about wanting to bring a WWE stadium show to the capitalmeeting with both Triple H and WWE CEO Nick Khan in 2024new backstage info reveals why nothing has materialized yet: Wembley is off the table.

During a January 26, 2026 Q&A session, WrestleVotes shot down the idea of WWE heading to Wembley anytime soon, citing financial reasons and AEWs current presence there.

TC followed up by clarifying that WWE isnt in the business of giving away stadium spectacles without financial backing from host cities, so London will have to pony up the cash.

Even though Triple H previously said international stadium shows like this are logistically tough, he also made it clear WWE is ready if the opportunity makes sense. The message here? London wants itbut doesnt want to pay for it.

So for now, Wembley stays firmly in AEWs corner. Until London opens its checkbook, WWEs big stadium shows are heading elsewhere.
