WWE Unreal season two brought a lot of conversation points coming out of the Netflix shows premiere. Road Dogg has received some backlash, and hes already taken to defending himself. Now, Eric Bischoff is weighing in on things.
During a recent discussion about WWE Unreal season 2, Road Dogg saw a spotlight that fans have criticized him for. In the show, Road Dogg suggested Chelsea Green should win the U.S. Title back from Zelina Vega. Road Dogg backed down from the idea after Triple H said that shes already beat everyone on her level, and Road Dogg backed down. This brought fans to call him out for not having a creative backbone.
Triple H questioned the idea and pushed back with, Who does she work with? The question implied Chelsea had already faced most available opponents, making another title run harder to map out.
Road Dogg responded to the point by saying, I see what youre saying. I dont like it, but I agree. That criticism sparked backlash of its own, and Eric Bischoff stepped in to address it directly during 83 Weeks. Bischoff argued that people were drawing big conclusions from a small segment.
Eric Bischoff also pointed out the scale of what fans did not see, saying, Thats one conversation in one meeting over the course of 40 hours of meetings that one week. Bischoff closed by noting the frustration that comes with the job and public reaction/
We will have to see what happens in the future. Unreal Season 3 is coming, and John Cenas farewell tour will get a spotlight next time around. It will be interesting to see what topics were talking about after that drops.
