PWInsider reports that there have been internal pitches for Chad Gable to return as early as this Mondays episode of RAW, which will air live from Toronto. While nothing has been officially confirmed by WWE, this marks the first concrete indication of a potential return date following Gables months-long absence due to injury.
Previously, it was reported that Gable was being looked at for a return around the time of the Royal Rumble, with some hope that he could be back even sooner. That timeline now seems to be aligning.
Gable has been out of action since the summer of 2025 due to a shoulder injury that required surgeryan unexpected setback that disrupted WWEs creative direction at the time. His run as El Grande Americano had been gaining momentum, and many fans saw him as on the verge of a major push before the injury sidelined him.
Since then, Gable has been training at the WWE Performance Center, preparing himself for an in-ring comeback. With the Rumble just days away, a surprise return on RAW could be the perfect setup heading into one of WWEs biggest events of the year.
