WWE just confirmed what fans were hoping forWWE Unreal is officially coming back for a third season.
At the end of the final episode of WWE Unreal Season 2, which dropped on January 20, 2026, a message flashed across the screen: New episodes coming, Summer 2026. That single line was all it took to confirm that the behind-the-scenes docuseries has been renewed, and that Season 3 is already on the way.
The renewal comes as Season 2 created massive discussion onlinethanks in large part to its wild revelations about WWEs original creative plans for summer 2025. While the show didnt spell everything out, it gave fans just enough to start piecing together an alternate version of WWE history. And now, with Season 3 confirmed, speculation is running even wilder about what well see next.
Season 2 pulled back the curtain on everything from abandoned SummerSlam matches to scrapped title programs and tag-team reunions that never made it to TV. Some of the scrapped plans included IYO SKY vs. Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank, Nikki Bella returning for a singles match at Evolution, and the Bella Twins challenging for tag gold at SummerSlam. Even the King and Queen of the Ring finals were totally different at one pointwith Cody Rhodes vs. Rusev and Rhea Ripley vs. Giulia locked in internally.
And that wasnt even the half of it. Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker, The Demon Finn Blor vs. Dominik Mysterio, and Cody vs. Drew McIntyre at Clash in Parisnot WrestlePaloozawere all reportedly on the table. Even WarGames looked radically different in the early blueprints, with unlikely alliances and shocking pairings across the board.
With Season 3 coming this summer, fans are expecting another round of creative bombshells, unreleased footage, and what-could-have-been matchups that may rival the twists from Season 2.
