The Seattle Seahawks will be without one of their main offensive weapons for the rest of the postseason.
Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet will need season-ending surgery after suffering a significant knee injury Saturday, coach Mike Macdonald said Monday on 710 Seattle Sports.
Charbonnet suffered a torn ACL, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Charbonnet missed the second half of Seattle's 41-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round with his injury. Kenneth Walker rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
Charbonnet led the Seahawks with 12 touchdowns (all rushing) during the regular season and was second on the team with 730 rushing yards. Walker led the team with 1,027 rushing yards during the regular season.
The Seahawks will host the Los Angeles Rams in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
